The good and the bad

As you can see from the pictures the bad news is Joshua burned his little hand when Scottie was cooking steaks on the B-B-Q. He had blisters all over and on his finger-tips. It was the saddest thing for me as a mother and I just can't imagine what I would of done if something worse would of happened. It was very hard because he was screaming, (not just cry) for two hours after the incident while I was holding him but the good news is he woke up the next morning as the happiest little camper around. You would've thought nothing had ever happened to him. These kinds things really make you realize to not take the little things for granted.

OH, we also went ice-skating on Saturday night and had so much fun, Ashlyn really thinks she's going to be the next ice princess. There are no pics of her because my batteries were dead when I tried to snap a shot of her. :(

Girls Trip to AZ

Here we are on our little girls trip in Arizona. Scottsdale was so much fun, and I wish our laughs, shopping, and eating didn't have to come to an end. I just couldn’t get enough of the little Kater-gator who has come up with a hysterical chuckle all of her own (what a doll). I wish I had a picture of Ashlee's little man Drake because he is Ashlee's identical twin and will be a real heartbreaker when he's older. I am so glad we did this and I can't wait for the next one!

Presley Ann Jackson

I have another sweet little niece. Here is Presley Ann (Marc & Brooke) newest little member to their family. She is so cute and tiny- 6lb. 2oz. I just could not get enough of her and her new baby smell. It really makes you think how babies are such little miracles in every way.

my little angel

Lately my little dancing Queen a.k.a Ashlyn has been my best little helper/buddy. She and I have grown so close the last couple of weeks. I don't know why but I wonder if putting her back into dance class has anything to do with it. For awhile there I pulled her out of dance at Winner School and had her in just gymnastics. But just a few weeks ago I told her she could do both and it's like we are best buddies again. I have never seen a child love to dance so much in my life. Next time you talk to my inlaws ask them about the daily performances Ashlyn makes us watch. I think my father inlaw is starting to dread them, no-really he is so cute about it and he actually tells her shes the best he's ever seen.
