1. Where did you meet your husband? That depends on exactly how technical you want me to get. Technically, we met when we were in high school, I was a sophomore and he was a senior. We met up at a party in Deer Valley. Little did we know we would date later on. Maybe he did, but I had no-idea!

2. What is the first thing you said to your husband? I've watched you play basketball, or something stupid like that.
3. Where was your first date? Bowling @ Olympus Hills then we went for ice cream. Still to this day he thinks he's so funny because I fell for the dumbest joke....... He said, "hey Laura my ice cream smells funny" and being the polite young gal I was I smelled it to check, and POW he smashed his ice cream cone right in my face . What a little punk! Now you know why we dated for so so so long. These kinds of things happened to me all the time, between him and his two brothers.
4. Where was your first kiss? This is so embarrassing, but it was in his family-room on the couch, with my best friend right next to us. In our defense we had pillows stacked up to shield us. P.S. It was also on our first date too. The theory of playing hard to get was not in my vocabulary!
5. Did you have a long or short courtship/engagement? Kinda long in my opinion- 2 1/2 years.
6. Where did you get engaged? In the best place in the world- while we were water-skiing in Lake Powell, yep we were both skiing!!! He had the ring tied to a fishing line and then to a little key chain buoy. Just in-case. Here is the pic right when it happened.
This pic was taken the same day.7. Where were you married? In the Salt Lake Temple on September 5, 2001. We're going on 6 years baby! The funniest thing happened right after though. When we were getting pictures all around the Temple grounds, the videographer thought it would be cool if we grabbed hands and ran toward the temple. So we did, and of course I fell. I tripped and ate it flat on my face, and my entire dress came up over my head. Luckily the "g's" were a good cover up. Don't worry we captured that special moment and put it on the video.
beautiful Temple grounds
8. How did your reception go? It was perfect, except right at the very end of the night it rained on us, just as we were getting into the limo. It was really fun too, I had 14 bridesmaids. (no-joke)

9. How was the honeymoon? Oh, the honeymoon. That is a whole other story. It was fabulous, and we spent two weeks in Florida. Yes, we did all the Walt Disney World stuff, but it was a long honeymoon because that's when 9-11 happened. So when the U.S. was being attacked by terrorists, we were on our honeymoon sitting at Indiana Jones show @ MGM studios. They closed the park and we were sent back to our hotel. We got comps right and left, but it was such a sad time. It was extended so long because we could not get a flight back home. Fun but crazy.
